I was walking through the Chicago Midwinter
Meeting with Rhonda (my dental assistant and an assistant editor
of Dental Economics) late in the afternoon. We had been on the
exhibit floor all day looking for new products to try and really

stood in front of the both, they draped a soft, lightweight, flexible
wrap around our necks. The wrap was heated and the warmth seemed
to permeate and relax all the muscles of my neck and shoulders.
It felt wonderful. The Comfy Wrap also has a small pocket in which
you can place a choice of herbs that will give off a therapeutic
aroma. I thought that if this could make me feel so good in the
middle of an exhibit floor, think of how our patients would feel

If you really want to "go the extra mile"
towards five star service, the Comfy Wrap is a very cool product.
It's basically a U-shaped neck pillow, but it's
definately the best one that I've ever seen. Not only are they
soft and lightweight, (they're filled with some kind of natural
material.), but when you microwave them they stay warm for
about an hour.
These things are better than a massage! They
are just incredibly soothing, especially if your neck muscles
are tense, which is true for just about every dental patient.
Plus, they have a little pocket that holds an herb packet right
near the patient's nose for some added aromatherapy. Wow! A warm
soft neck pillow and aromatherapy all in one! Just give me some
headphones, pop on a little Pink Floyd, and drill away!
Definitely worth a try.
